Conversion of Victorias High School to National

Section 1 converts the Victorias High School in the Municipality of Victorias, Province of Negros Occidental into a national high school.
Section 1 names the converted school the Victorias National High School.
Section 1 requires the school’s curriculum to include both academic and vocational courses.

Section 2 assigns implementation to the Minister of Education, Culture and Sports.
Section 2 requires that the Victorias National High School be put into operation during the first school term following the approval of Batas Pambansa Blg. 362.

Section 3 sets a funding amount of PHP 100,000 for the operation of the school.
Section 3 directs that the PHP 100,000 shall be funded out of appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 and Batas Pambansa Blg. 230 for the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports intended for new national high schools.
Section 3 provides that the local government unit concerned shall continue to provide for its share in the cost of maintenance and operation of the school.
Section 3 mandates that thereafter, whatever sum is necessary for operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
