Separation and conversion of a school annex

The Secretary of Education is mandated to operationalize Digkilaan National High School within the Department’s program under Section 3.
The Secretary of Education is required to issue rules and regulations necessary to carry out the Act under Section 4.

Section 1 separates the Tubaran National High School – Digkilaan Annex in Barangay Digkilaan, City of Iligan, Province of Lanao del Norte from the Tubaran National High School.
Section 1 converts the annex into an independent national high school.
Section 1 establishes the school’s name as Digkilaan National High School.

Section 2 transfers and absorbs all personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Tubaran National High School – Digkilaan Annex to Digkilaan National High School.
Section 2 provides that the transfer is automatic in effect as a matter of law by virtue of separation and conversion.

Section 3 requires the Secretary of Education to immediately include the operationalization of Digkilaan National High School in the Department’s program.
Section 3 directs that the initial funding be charged against the current year’s appropriations of the Tubaran National High School – Digkilaan Annex.
Section 3 requires that thereafter, the amount necessary for the continued operation of the school be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Section 4 directs the Secretary of Education to issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of Republic Act No. 10435.
