Jurisdiction of the 2nd District Engineering Office
- The new 2nd District Engineering Office will have jurisdiction over the municipalities of the 3rd Congressional District of Masbate Province.
- These municipalities include: Pio V. Corpus, Cataingan, Uson, Placer, Palanas, Cawayan, Dimasalang, and Esperanza.
Funding and Operationalization
- The Secretary of the Department of Public Works and Highways is mandated to allocate funding for the operation of the newly established 2nd District Engineering Office.
- Such funding shall be included in the Department’s program starting the year after the law’s enactment and in the following years.
Effectivity of the Act
- The Act takes effect immediately upon its approval.
- The Act lapsed into law without the President’s signature, pursuant to the constitutional provision (Article VI, Section 27[1]) allowing a bill to become law after 30 days if not signed by the President.
