Conversion and institutional character
- The Tarlac Trade School in the Municipality of Tarlac, Province of Tarlac, is converted into a regional national school of arts and trades (Section 1).
- The converted school is to be known as the Tarlac School of Arts and Trades (Section 1).
- The school is placed under the supervision of the Bureau of Public Schools (Section 1).
- The school is subject to the provisions of the school law (Section 1).
- The school offers courses of collegiate and secondary levels (Section 1).
Appropriation and funding for operation
- Section 2 authorizes the appropriation of PHP 200,000 out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
- The appropriation is for the operation and maintenance of the school during the fiscal year 19__60 (Section 2).
- In subsequent years, any sum necessary for operation and maintenance must be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts (Section 2).
Operation triggers and implementation
- Republic Act No. 2427 becomes effective when the funds authorized for appropriation have been provided (Section 3).
- The Bureau of Public Schools exercises supervision over the school while it operates as a regional national school of arts and trades (Section 1).
