Road conversion and official designation
- Section 1 converts the Parang-Silangkan Provincial Road located in the Municipality of Parang, Province of Sulu into a national road.
- The converted national road is to be known as the Parang-Silangkan National Road.
Funding and continuity of appropriations
- Section 2 provides that the amount necessary for the improvement and maintenance of the road continues to be funded from the lump sum appropriation authorized under Batas Pambansa Blg. 640.
- The funding continues specifically for the repair and maintenance of local roads.
- Funding remains in place until such time that maintenance funds for the road are provided in succeeding appropriations acts.
Effectivity and transitory effect
- Section 3 states that the Act takes effect upon its approval.
- The Act was enacted without executive approval, fixing the approval-based effectivity on April 27, 1984.
