Conversion of the high school
- Section 1 converts the New Washington High School in the Municipality of New Washington, Province of Aklan into a national school of fisheries.
- The converted national school is to be known as the Aklan National School of Fisheries.
- Section 1 empowers the Secretary of Education to reorganize the school accordingly.
Appropriations and funding rules
- Section 2 appropriates PHP 300,000 for the operation and maintenance of the Aklan National School of Fisheries for the fiscal year nineteen hundred fifty-eight.
- The PHP 300,000 appropriation is to be taken out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
- Section 2 requires that any sums necessary for operation and maintenance in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Act.
Implementation responsibility
- The Secretary of Education is the officer empowered to carry out the school’s reorganization under Section 1.
- The school’s operation and maintenance are funded through the appropriation specified for fiscal year nineteen hundred fifty-eight under Section 2.
