Funding and Appropriations for Operation
- An initial amount of ₱100,000 shall be allocated for the operation of the Matalam National High School.
- This funding shall be sourced from appropriations authorized under Batas Pambansa Bilang 230, designated for the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, specifically for new national high schools.
- In addition to the initial amount, an extra funding equivalent to fifty percent (50%) of the school’s share in budgetary aid previously received (prior to conversion) will be released from the national assistance fund allocated to local schools.
- Future operational and maintenance expenses shall be incorporated into the annual General Appropriations Act to ensure continued funding.
Effective Date of the Act
- The provisions of this Act shall take effect immediately upon its approval.
- The law was approved on June 10, 1983, thereby making the conversion and appropriations legally binding from that date.
