Separation and conversion into independent school
- Section 1 separates the Maria Cristina National High School Ditucalan Annex in Barangay Ditucalan, City of Iligan, Province of Lanao del Norte from the Maria Cristina National High School.
- Section 1 converts the separated annex into an independent national high school.
- The independent national high school is to be known as Ditucalan National High School.
Transfer of assets, liabilities, and records
- Section 2 transfers and absorbs the personnel, assets, liabilities and records of the Maria Cristina National High School Ditucalan Annex to the Ditucalan National High School.
- Section 2 provides that the personnel, assets, liabilities, and records are transferred to and absorbed by the Ditucalan National High School.
Appropriations and funding responsibilities
- Section 3 directs the Secretary of Education to immediately include the operationalization of the Ditucalan National High School in the Department’s program.
- Section 3 provides that the initial funding is to be charged against the current year’s appropriations of the Maria Cristina National High School Ditucalan Annex.
- Section 3 requires that thereafter, the amount necessary for the continued operation of the school shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Implementation and implementing rules
- Section 4 mandates that the Secretary of Education shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of the Act.
