Conversion of Sta. Maria LTO extension office
- Section 1 converts the existing Land Transportation Office (LTO) Extension Office located in the Municipality of Sta. Maria, Province of Bulacan into a regular LTO district office.
- The conversion is automatic by operation of Section 1, covering the specified office location in Sta. Maria, Bulacan.
Department of Transportation duties and funding
- Section 2 directs the Secretary of Transportation and Communications to immediately include in the Department’s programs the operationalization of the Regular LTO District Office in Sta. Maria, Bulacan.
- Section 2 requires the initial funding to be charged against the current year appropriations of the Sta. Maria LTO Extension Office.
- Section 2 requires that thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the continued operation of the Regular LTO District Office be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Repeal of inconsistent rules
- Section 3 repeals or amends any laws, rules, and regulations that are inconsistent with the provisions of Republic Act No. 10769.
- The repeal or amendment is effected to the extent of inconsistency with the Act’s provisions.
