Appointment of School Head

  • The current head teacher of the Verdant Annex is appointed as the principal of the newly established Las Piñas East National High School.

  • All assets, both immovable and movable, records, and personnel of the Verdant Annex are transferred to the new Las Piñas East National High School.
  • Liabilities or obligations previously held by the annex also transfer to the new school.
  • Employment positions, rights, and security of tenure of personnel under existing laws are preserved; no impairment to their status is allowed.

Appropriation and Funding

  • Initial funding for the implementation of this Act shall be drawn from appropriations under Republic Act No. 7663, allocated for operational expenses of new high schools under the Department of Education, Culture and Sports.
  • Subsequent operational and maintenance costs shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Effectivity

  • The Act takes effect upon approval.
  • It lapsed into law on June 19, 1994, without the President's signature, pursuant to Section 27(1), Article VI of the Philippine Constitution.
