Purpose and separation of schools
- Section 1 separates the Lamian National High School – Lamsugod Annex located in Barangay Lamsugod, Municipality of Surallah, Province of South Cotabato from the Lamian National High School.
- Section 1 converts the separated annex into an independent national high school.
- Section 1 names the independent school “Lamsugod National High School.”
Transfer of personnel, assets, liabilities, and records
- Section 2 transfers to and absorbs by the Lamsugod National High School all personnel of the Lamian National High School – Lamsugod Annex.
- Section 2 transfers to and absorbs by the Lamsugod National High School all assets of the annex.
- Section 2 transfers to and absorbs by the Lamsugod National High School all liabilities of the annex.
- Section 2 transfers to and absorbs by the Lamsugod National High School all records of the annex.
Appropriations and funding responsibilities
- Section 3 requires the Secretary of Education to include the operationalization of Lamsugod National High School in the Department’s program immediately.
- Section 3 directs that the initial funding of the school shall be charged against the current year’s appropriations of the Lamian National High School – Lamsugod Annex.
- Section 3 requires that thereafter, the amount necessary for the continued operation of the school shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Implementation rules and regulations
- Section 4 mandates the Secretary of Education to issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of the Act.
