Academic Programs and Courses Offered
- The school is mandated to offer a variety of educational programs including:
- General secondary education.
- Vocational courses related to fisheries.
- Fishery courses aimed at secondary level students.
- Collegiate subjects and/or courses focused on fisheries for higher education.
Authority to Reorganize the School
- Empowerment is given to the Secretary of Education to reorganize the school as needed.
- The reorganization includes structural, curricular, and administrative adjustments to align with its new role as a School of Fisheries.
Appropriation of Funds
- An initial appropriation of Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (₱200,000) is authorized from the National Treasury for:
- The conversion of the school.
- The operation and maintenance of the school for the fiscal year 1964.
- Subsequent funding for operations and maintenance is to be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts.
Effectivity of the Act
- The law takes effect immediately upon its approval.
- Ensures timely implementation of the conversion and operation of the school as a fisheries educational institution.
