Conversion into a national high school
- Section 1 converts the Bacsil Barangay High School into a national high school.
- The converted school is to be known as the Bacsil National High School.
- The conversion applies to the school located in the Municipality of San Juan, Province of Ilocos Sur.
Funding and appropriation requirements
- Section 2 sets the initial operating funding amount at PHP 100,000.
- Section 2 directs that the PHP 100,000 shall be funded from appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 230 for the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports intended for new national high schools.
- Section 2 requires release of an additional amount equal to 50% of the school’s share in budgetary aid actually paid to it before the conversion.
- Section 2 provides that both the appropriations and the additional released amount are taken from the national assistance fund to local schools for the school’s operation.
- Section 2 requires that, thereafter, whatever sum is necessary for operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
