Transfer of Assets, Liabilities, Personnel, and Records
- All personnel currently employed by Andres Bonifacio Elementary School are transferred to the new Integrated School.
- All assets belonging to the elementary school automatically become assets of the Integrated School.
- Existing liabilities of Andres Bonifacio Elementary School are transferred and absorbed by the Integrated School.
- Records maintained by the elementary school are also transferred to the Integrated School to ensure continuity.
Appropriations and Funding
- The Secretary of Education is mandated to incorporate the operation of Andres Bonifacio Integrated School into the Department of Education’s programs immediately.
- The funding for the operationalization of the Integrated School shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
Rulemaking and Implementation
- The Secretary of Education is empowered to issue the necessary rules and regulations to effectively implement and fulfill the objectives of this Act.
- Such rules and regulations shall address administrative and operational concerns as may be required.
Effectivity of the Act
- The Act shall become effective fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
- This allows for proper dissemination and public awareness before the law is enforced.
Legislative Process and Approval
- The Act originated in the House of Representatives and was passed by both the House and the Senate on March 10, 2014, and October 5, 2015, respectively.
- It was approved by the President of the Philippines and accordingly signed into law on December 29, 2015.
