Territorial Boundaries and Description of Each Barrio and the Poblacion Proper
- The Act defines the specific geographical boundaries of each newly created barrio and the existing poblacion proper as follows:
- Barrio Quezon: Boundaries start at Lumabang and Mabini Streets, extending east to the National Road, south to Solano-Bayombong boundary, west to Barrio Wacal boundary, including sitios Apad and Nampayacan.
- Barrio Osmena: Begins at Washington and Lumabang Streets, north to Bonifacio Street, east to General Santos Street, including part of sitio Caldaan.
- Barrio Roxas: Starts at Bonfal and General Santos Streets, extends north to San Luis boundary, east to barrio Bascaran boundary, southeast to Sinafal boundary, including sitios Asilap, Manangcad, and Magarang.
- Barrio Quirino: Begins at Bonfal and Mabini Streets, north to Washington Street, east to Sinafal boundary, south to Bayombong-Solano boundary, includes sitios Bagabag and Silubbagan.
- Poblacion Proper: Enclosed by Lumabang, Bonifacio, Bonfal, Mabini Streets covering the central area previously called the poblacion.
Election of Initial Barrio Officials
- The first set of barrio officials for the new barrios shall be elected.
- Elections must comply with the procedures set out in Section 8 of Republic Act No. 3590 (Revised Barrio Charter), as amended.
Effectivity of the Act
- The Act becomes effective immediately upon approval.
- It was approved on August 4, 1969.
