Definitions of Mail Categories
- INTRA: Mail posted within a region and delivered anywhere within the same region (e.g., Manila to Makati or Manila to Manila).
- INTER: Mail posted within a region but delivered outside the region via land transportation. This includes mail between NCR and CAR, Regions I, II, III, IV, and V, except Batanes, Palawan, and Occidental Mindoro.
- INTER + AIRMAIL FEE: Mail transported by air, such as mails from Luzon to Visayas, Mindanao, Batanes, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan, including return trips.
Postal Rate Application
- Postal fees vary depending on whether the mail is sent INTRA, INTER, or INTER + AIRMAIL.
- An additional air mail fee of PHP 3.00 is applied for INTER + AIRMAIL rates.
Specific Postal Rates by Weight and Category (in Philippine Pesos)
- For mail 20 grams and below: INTRA - PHP 7; INTRA AIRMAIL - PHP 10; INTER - PHP 9; INTER + AIRMAIL - PHP 12
- For mail 21-50 grams: INTRA - PHP 14; INTRA AIRMAIL - PHP 17; INTER - PHP 17; INTER + AIRMAIL - PHP 20
- For mail 51-100 grams: INTRA - PHP 23; INTRA AIRMAIL - PHP 26; INTER - PHP 29; INTER + AIRMAIL - PHP 32
- For mail 101-250 grams: INTRA - PHP 34; INTRA AIRMAIL - PHP 37; INTER - PHP 45; INTER + AIRMAIL - PHP 48
- For mail 251-500 grams: INTRA - PHP 45; INTRA AIRMAIL - PHP 48; INTER - PHP 68; INTER + AIRMAIL - PHP 71
- For mail 501-1000 grams: INTRA - PHP 68; INTRA AIRMAIL - PHP 71; INTER - PHP 90; INTER + AIRMAIL - PHP 93
