Designation of Chocolate and Cacao Capitals
- Declares the City of Davao as the Chocolate Capital of the Philippines.
- Declares Region XI (Davao Region) as the Cacao Capital of the Philippines.
- This recognition is due to:
- The City's status as the country’s largest cacao producer.
- Its key role in making Philippine cacao a globally sought product by chocolate makers from the USA, Japan, and Europe.
Repealing Clause
- Any existing laws, presidential decrees, executive orders, letters of instruction, rules, or regulations that conflict with the provisions of this Act are repealed or modified accordingly.
Effectivity Clause
- The Act shall come into effect fifteen (15) days following its publication.
- Publication must be in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation to be valid.
