Scope of the Law
- Applies solely to the educational institution previously known as Lupon School of Fisheries within the territorial jurisdiction of Lupon, Davao Oriental.
Repeal and Modification of Inconsistent Legal Provisions
- All laws, decrees, executive orders, rules, and regulations or parts thereof that are inconsistent with this Act are either repealed or modified to conform to the new provisions.
Effectivity
- The Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication either in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
Legislative Process and Approval
- The act originated in the House of Representatives and was passed there on March 21, 2018.
- It was amended by the Senate on November 26, 2018, and the House concurred with these amendments on December 4, 2018.
- The Act was finally approved by the President of the Philippines on February 14, 2019.
