Change in Formal Address of the President
- The term "Excellency" is to be omitted when addressing the President of the Philippines.
 - The President shall henceforth be addressed simply as "Mr. President."
 - Correspondence, including letters and other communications, must follow this new mode of address.
 
Format for Addressing Presidential Communications
- All letters and official communications shall be addressed as follows:
- President Ramon Magsaysay
 - Malacañang, Manila
 
 - This formalizes the manner in which the communication with and within the Office of the President should be conducted.
 
Legal Authority and Effectivity
- The changes are instituted by virtue of the powers vested in the President by law.
 - The Executive Order takes effect as of January 4, 1954, underscoring its immediate implementation.
 - The order is duly signed by the President and countersigned by the Executive Secretary, validating its legal force.
