Powers and Functions of the Review Commission
- The Review Commission was created pursuant to Republic Act No. 6172.
- Its primary function is to assist the President in reviewing and revising the integrated reorganization plan.
- It aids in the presentation of the plan to Congress.
- It conducts further review, assessment, and improvement of reorganization proposals considering feedback from various community sectors.
- The Commission may perform additional functions necessary to fulfill the objectives of the reorganization.
Appropriation for the Commission's Operations
- An appropriation of Six Hundred Thousand Pesos (₱600,000) is allocated for the Commission's expenses.
- This fund includes any unexpended balance of the Three Hundred Thousand Pesos (₱300,000) previously appropriated under Republic Act No. 6172.
- The funds shall cover Commission expenses up to June 30, 1972.
- The appropriation is sourced from the National Treasury, from funds not otherwise appropriated.
Effectivity Clause
- The Act takes effect immediately upon approval.
