  • Membership may be expanded as necessary.

Technical Support Staff

  • Program Office headed by a Program Director appointed by the President.
  • Staff detailed or seconded from various national government agencies.

Role of Various Entities in Implementation

  • National line agencies, LGUs, government corporations, NGOs, and private sector participate as implementing entities.
  • Implements activities such as trade fairs, investment missions, conventions, and official meetings.

Funding

  • Initial funding of PHP 18,000,000 released from the Presidential Contingent Fund or Organizational Adjustment Fund for Sept-Dec 1999.
  • Additional funding in 2000 from similar sources within the Office of the President.
  • Future appropriations included in the annual general appropriations bill submitted to Congress.

Implementing Authority

  • The PAO-CEAGC authorized to issue necessary rules and regulations to implement the Executive Order.

Effectivity

  • The Executive Order takes effect immediately upon signing.
  • Supersedes inconsistent prior Executive Orders, rules, and regulations.
