Memorandum of Agreement

Authority to Designate Additional National Folk Dance Companies
- The President, upon recommendation from the Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports, may designate additional national folk dance companies.
- Such companies shall receive the same entitlements and privileges as Bayanihan under this Act.
Appropriation of Funds
- An initial appropriation of Five Million Pesos (P5,000,000) to support the functions and roles of Bayanihan.
- Future funding to be included in the annual General Appropriations Act to sustain ongoing activities.
Repealing Clause
- Any provision declared invalid or unconstitutional will not affect the remaining provisions of the Act, which remain in full force.
Separability Clause
- All laws, rules, and regulations inconsistent with this Act are repealed or amended accordingly.
Effectivity Clause
- The Act takes effect immediately upon approval.
