Establishment and Location of the Hospital
- The Claveria Station Hospital is established in the Municipality of Claveria, Province of Masbate.
- The hospital's bed capacity is set within a range from ten to twenty-five beds.
Administrative Oversight and Operational Guidelines
- The Secretary of Health is charged with the establishment and operation of the hospital.
- Required to provide a suitable table of organization with no more than fourteen personnel.
- Authorized to promulgate rules and regulations for the hospital's maintenance and operation.
- May merge the hospital with local health units in Claveria if necessary, ensuring no impairment of public health services.
Funding and Appropriations
- An initial appropriation not exceeding fifty thousand pesos is authorized from the National Treasury for the hospital's establishment, maintenance, and operation during its first fiscal year.
- Subsequent annual appropriations, also not exceeding fifty thousand pesos, shall be provided through the General Appropriations Act for ongoing operation.
Effectivity
- The Act takes effect immediately upon its approval.
