Salary Schedule for Solicitors and Trial Attorneys

  • Specifies the new monthly salary rates for positions in the OSG:
    • Assistant Solicitor General: ₱55,536 (10 positions)
    • Solicitor VI: ₱52,848 (10 positions)
    • Solicitor V: ₱50,292 (10 positions)
    • Solicitor IV: ₱47,856 (10 positions)
    • Solicitor III: ₱43,332 (10 positions)
    • Solicitor II: ₱41,232 (10 positions)
    • Solicitor I: ₱37,344 (10 positions)
    • Trial Attorney (various grades): ₱32,184, ₱30,624, ₱29,148 (7, 7, and 6 positions respectively)

Funding and Budgetary Provisions

  • Funds to implement the salary increases are to be sourced primarily from salary lapses and savings within the OSG.
  • Additional funding may be drawn from the Salary Adjustment Fund under the 1981 General Appropriations Act and from budgetary reserves.
  • Future salary requirements must be included in the respective annual appropriations of the OSG.
