Issuance of Implementing Rules and Regulations
- The President may issue necessary rules and regulations comparable to those of the United States for securing any military articles, plans, or information received.
- These regulations ensure the protection and confidentiality of sensitive military materials provided under the agreements.
Prohibited Acts and Penalties
- Any Philippine officer, employee, or agent who permits unauthorized use or disclosure of property, plans, specifications, or technical information received under this Act is subject to penalties.
- Violations include indirect permitting of use or disclosure for purposes other than those authorized.
- Penalties may be charged under the Articles of War (Commonwealth Act No. 408), Espionage Law (Commonwealth Act No. 616), imprisonment up to ten years, fines up to ten thousand pesos, or a combination thereof, whichever is higher.
Effectivity
- The Act takes effect immediately upon approval on September 2, 1946.
