Declaration of Jesse Robredo Day
- August 18 of every year is declared as Jesse Robredo Day (Section 2).
- Jesse Robredo Day is declared a special working holiday (Section 2).
- The holiday is to be celebrated in all elementary and secondary schools in the country (Section 2).
- If August 18 falls on a weekend, the holiday shall be observed on the Friday of that week (Section 2).
Implementing agency and school activities
- The Department of Education must plan and implement activities for Jesse Robredo Day (Section 3).
- The Department of Education must ensure that Jesse Robredo’s legacy of good governance and leadership is given emphasis (Section 3).
- The emphasized legacy must be used to encourage students to continue the legacy for the good of the Philippines and the Filipino people (Section 3).
Separability and effect of invalidity
- If any provision of Republic Act No. 10669 is declared unconstitutional, that declaration shall not affect the validity and effectivity of the other provisions (Section 4).
Repealing and amendatory effect
- All laws, decrees, orders and issuances or portions thereof that are inconsistent with Republic Act No. 10669 are repealed, amended, or modified accordingly (Section 5).
