- Tabon Fish Sanctuary (126.27 hectares) with defined boundary points.
- Muntinlupa Fish Sanctuary (30.12 hectares) with precise delimitation.
Coordination and Management
- LLDA holds policy-setting and administrative authority over fish sanctuaries.
- Coordination is mandated with DA-BFAR, LGUs of Binangonan, Cardona, Jala-Jala, Muntinlupa City, and Bay, Laguna.
Law Enforcement
- Enforcement responsibility lies primarily with Philippine National Police-Maritime Command (PNP-MariCom) and Philippine Coast Guard (PCG).
- These agencies collaborate with concerned LGUs for fishery law enforcement.
- Other law enforcement bodies may support enforcement operations.
Prohibited Acts
- No person or entity may fish within sanctuary boundaries.
- Prohibited to dispose any organic/inorganic waste or polluting substances into sanctuaries.
- Destruction or damage of installed materials, equipment, or infrastructure for sanctuaries is forbidden.
Penal and Civil Liabilities
- Violators subject to criminal prosecution under provisions of R.A. 4850, as amended.
- An administrative fine of Php 5,000 will be imposed after due process.
- Corporate or organizational liability extends to responsible officers.
- LLDA may initiate civil actions for damages caused by violations.
Amendments
- LLDA reserves the right to amend or modify the rules and regulations at any time.
Effectivity
- The rules take effect 15 days post-publication in a newspaper of general circulation.
