Funding Filipino Athletes for 1960 Olympics

Republic Act No. 2684 appropriates funds to support the training, preparation, and participation of a Filipino athletic delegation for the 1960 Olympics in Rome, Italy.
Section 1 expressly funds aid intended to cover expenses for selection, assembling, equipping, preparation, and sending of an athletic delegation to represent the Philippines at the Olympic Games.

Section 1 appropriates PHP 150,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary.
The appropriation is taken out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
Section 1 limits the appropriation to being used as aid for the recipient described in the law.

Section 1 provides that the appropriated amount is aid to the Philippine Amateur Athletic Federation.
The aid is for defraying expenses tied to participation in the World Olympic Games to be held in Rome, Italy in 1960.
