Appropriation amount and purpose
- Section 1 appropriates PHP 100,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, from any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
- The appropriation is an aid to the Philippine Amateur Athletic Federation.
- The funds must defray the expenses of:
- the selection of a Filipino athletic delegation,
- the assembling of the delegation,
- equipping the athletes,
- preparation for the Games, and
- sending a delegation to represent the Philippines.
- The delegation must be competent and must represent the Philippines at the World Olympic Games to be held in London in 1948.
Coverage, use of funds, and limitation
- The appropriation applies to expenses connected to the training, preparation, and participation of the Filipino athletic delegation in the 1948 Olympics.
- The appropriation is limited to PHP 100,000 or such lesser amount as may be necessary.
- The funds are drawn from the National Treasury only to the extent that they are not otherwise appropriated.
