Upgrade of Health Care Services and Facilities
- Hospital’s professional health care services and facilities must be enhanced to be consistent with the increased bed capacity.
- The personnel strength is to be increased proportionately to meet the enhanced service requirements.
Funding and Financial Support
- The Provincial Government of Bataan is responsible for funding the hospital's maintenance and operational expenses.
- The provincial government must also allocate budget for additional human resources needed due to the bed capacity increase.
- The Department of Health Secretary is mandated to include the hospital’s capital outlay requirements in the Department’s subsidy program.
Repeal and Amendment of Conflicting Laws
- All existing laws, executive orders, issuances, or regulations inconsistent with this Act are repealed, amended, or modified accordingly to ensure conformity.
Effectivity
- The Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or a newspaper of general circulation, ensuring the law is publicized before enforcement.
