  • Students undergoing training are entitled to take a special examination in the subjects or course they were enrolled in at the time they were called to training.

  • Students who satisfactorily pass the special examination are entitled to promotion to the next higher grade or year in their course.

Provisions for Failure or Non-Availing of Examination

  • If a student fails the special examination or chooses not to take it but re-enrolls in the same course or year, the student is only required to attend classes during the period missed due to training.

Scope and Applicability

  • The law applies to all regular students enrolled in public schools, the University of the Philippines, and any private school or college recognized by the Government.

Effectivity

  • The Act took effect immediately upon its approval on November 6, 1936.
