Authority of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports

  • The Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS) is mandated to promulgate rules and regulations necessary to implement the provisions of this Act.

Transfer of Personnel, Assets, and Records

  • All personnel assigned to Jaclupan National High School Extension are transferred to the newly established Mohon (Divino Amore) National High School.
  • All assets, liabilities, and records of the extension are also transferred and absorbed by Mohon (Divino Amore) National High School.

Appropriation and Funding

  • The initial funding for the implementation of the Act is charged against the current year's appropriations for the Jaclupan National High School Barangay Mohon Extension.
  • Subsequent funding for the operation and maintenance of Mohon (Divino Amore) National High School shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

Effectivity of the Act

  • The law takes effect upon its approval.
  • Although the President did not sign the Act, it lapsed into law on August 29, 1998, in accordance with the Constitution (Article VI, Section 27(1)).
