Conduct of Municipal Elections
- Municipal elections in Prieto Diaz shall be conducted according to the provisions of Act No. 730 as amended by Act No. 928.
- Officers elected in Prieto Diaz must qualify for the municipality's organization to be legally recognized.
- Jurisdiction of Prieto Diaz as a municipality commences once its elected officers have qualified.
- Residents of Montufar, Manlabong, and Calao will not participate in elections for Bacon and Gubat but will instead vote in the elections for Prieto Diaz.
Expedite Passage Due to Public Good
- The law mandates the expedited passage of this act in compliance with Section 2 of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," enacted on September 26, 1900.
- The urgency stems from the public interest in promptly establishing the new municipality.
Effectivity of the Act
- The Act takes effect immediately upon its passage on October 12, 1903.
- The creation and organization of Prieto Diaz as a municipality become effective on this date.
