Territorial Boundaries
- Defines precise territorial boundaries for each new barangay using landmarks, lots, creeks, rivers, roads, and measured areas in hectares and square meters.
- Barangay Acmac-Mariano Badelles Sr.: bounded by Iligan Bay, Matuog Creek, various lots; area approximately 109.78 hectares.
- Barangay San Roque: bounded by various lots, Mandulog River, a new bridge, and the National Highway; area approximately 131.62 hectares.
- Barangay Luinab: bounded by various lots and Manggas Creek; area approximately 293.728 hectares.
- Barangay Upper Hinaplanon: bounded by Mandulog River, Barangay Mandulog lots, and various other lots; area approximately 190.927 hectares.
- Barangay Ubaldo Laya: bounded by roads, various lots, Iligan River, and Tipanoy River.
Conduct and Supervision of Plebiscite
- The plebiscites conducted and supervised by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) under specific Iligan City Ordinances ratified the creation of the barangays.
- These plebiscites satisfy the legal requirement under Section 10 of RA No. 7160 (Local Government Code of 1991) for barangay creation.
Incumbent Barangay Officials
- The incumbent barangay officials of these new barangays shall continue in office until their successors are elected and qualified.
Public Infrastructure and Facilities
- Existing public infrastructure and facilities within the new barangays will remain owned and administered by these barangays.
Internal Revenue Allotment (IRA) Shares
- The newly created barangays are entitled to their respective Internal Revenue Allotment shares according to Section 285 of RA No. 7160.
Repealing Clause
- Any laws, decrees, executive orders, rules, or regulations inconsistent with this Act are repealed or amended accordingly.
Effectivity
- The Act takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
- The Act lapsed into law on July 28, 2022, pursuant to the Constitution, without the President's signature.
