Funds will be appropriated and released only when the courts are actually organized and the necessary personnel appointed.

Amendments and Repeal of Inconsistent Provisions

Sections 14(e) and 29 of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129 (The Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980), as amended, and all other provisions that are inconsistent with this Act, are repealed, modified, or further amended accordingly.

Effectivity

This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days following its publication in the Official Gazette or in two newspapers of general circulation.

The law is a consolidation of Senate Bill No. 3043 and House Bill No. 6855.
It was passed by the Senate on September 17, 2012, and by the House of Representatives on February 6, 2013.
The Act was signed into law by the President of the Philippines on May 22, 2013.
