Implementation Authority

  • The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports is mandated to issue necessary rules, orders, and circulars to implement the conversion and the provisions of the Act effectively.

Transfer of Assets and Personnel

  • All personnel currently serving at the Palawan National School-Narra Branch-Sandoval Annex shall be transferred to the Sandoval National High School.
  • Records, assets, properties (including buildings, sites, and improvements), financial obligations, funds, and appropriations of the Annex are likewise transferred to the Sandoval National High School.

Appropriations and Funding

  • The financial requirements needed to implement the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act starting the year following the law’s enactment.
  • Appropriations shall continue to be included in subsequent budgets as necessary.

Effectivity of the Law

  • The Act took effect immediately upon approval.
  • Notably, the law lapsed into effect on November 10, 1996, by virtue of the President's failure to sign it within the prescribed period, as stipulated under Article VI, Section 27 (1) of the 1987 Philippine Constitution.
