Special Provisions for Army Officers Serving as Provincial Governors

Army officers serving as provincial governors and appointed as census supervisors will not receive regular census compensation.
Instead, they are entitled to a per diem allowance of five dollars from Insular funds.
This allowance is in addition to any per diem they receive from the province.
The per diem covers all expenses incurred as census supervisors, subject to limitations regarding compensation to supervisors in the census law.
