Age Limit and Termination of Office

  • The maximum age limit to hold the office of provincial fiscal, city fiscal, or their assistants is sixty-five years.
  • Any incumbent over sixty-five as of December 31, 1932, is required to vacate the office.

Compensation and Office Expenses

  • Salaries and all expenses related to the office of the provincial fiscal are to be borne by the province or provinces served.

Appointment of Support Staff

  • Clerks, interpreters, and other subordinate personnel are appointed and compensated similarly to employees in other provincial offices.

Assistant Provincial Fiscals in Ilocos Sur

  • The Province of Ilocos Sur is authorized to have six assistant provincial fiscals.

Effectivity of the Act

  • The Act takes effect immediately upon approval on June 18, 1960.
