Compensation for House of Representatives Officials and Members

The Speaker of the House of Representatives receives an annual compensation of sixteen thousand pesos.
Each Representative is entitled to seven thousand two hundred pesos annually.
The Secretary of the House of Representatives receives six thousand five hundred pesos per year.

Effective Date and Pro-Rata Adjustment for Presiding Officers and Legislators

The fixed yearly compensation applies retroactively starting January 1, 1926.
Any amount already received by the officials from January 1, 1926, until the law's effectivity will be deducted from the total compensation.
Remaining compensation shall be distributed in equal monthly installments from the deduction date until December 31, 1926.

Effective Date for Secretaries' Compensation

The fixed yearly compensation for the Secretaries of both Houses takes effect on January 1, 1927.

Source of Compensation Funds

Payments shall be made from funds appropriated under Act No. 3227 for both the Senate and the House of Representatives.
