Penalties for Failure to Submit or Conveying Unmanifested Cargo

  • Vessels that enter or depart without proper manifests or carrying unmanifested cargo (except as previously allowed) shall be fined.
  • The maximum fine imposed is up to five thousand pesos.

Duty of the Master of the Vessel Regarding Manifests

  • The master of the vessel must deliver or mail a true copy of the manifest of incoming or outgoing cargo to the Insular Auditor as required by law.
  • Failure to do so is subject to the same fine of up to five thousand pesos.
