Review and Potential Mandate for Smaller Municipalities
- Within three years of the Act's effectivity, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), in consultation with NCDA and NGOs, shall review the implementation and recommend whether the establishment of PDAO in smaller municipalities should be mandated.
Budgetary Provisions for PWD Programs
- The national government, through the DSWD, must ensure annual budgets include funding for PWD programs.
- LGUs must allocate funds from local revenues to implement the Act's provisions within their jurisdictions.
Repealing Clause
- All laws, decrees, executive orders, and rules inconsistent with this Act are repealed or modified accordingly.
Separability Clause
- If any provision is declared unconstitutional, it does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
Effectivity Clause
- The Act takes effect 15 days after publication in two newspapers of general circulation or in the Official Gazette, whichever occurs first.
