Municipal district created from Burdeos
- The barrios of Lood, Amaga, Kilugan, Busdak, Patnanungan Sur, and Patnanungan Norte are separated from the Municipality of Burdeos, Province of Quezon.
- These barrios are constituted into a distinct and independent municipal district.
- The municipal district is known as the Municipal District of Patnanungan, Province of Quezon.
- The barrio of Patnanungan Sur is designated as the seat of the municipal government.
Territorial coverage of islands included
- The municipal district includes the territorial jurisdiction of the Islands of Lumaya, Pinaglunglungan, Mayawak, Daidi, Minalolo Malaki, Minalolo Munti, Ikikon, Minamata, Katakian Grande and Katakian Chika.
- The inclusion of these islands forms part of the defined area of the Municipal District of Patnanungan, Province of Quezon.
Amendment of prior law’s description
- Section 1 of Republic Act No. 3373 is amended to reflect the separation and creation described in Republic Act No. 3723.
- The amended Section 1 establishes the territorial components, the name of the municipal district, and the seat of its municipal government.
