Provision for Relocation of the Seat of Government
- Within one year from the law’s approval, a vote may be held by the municipal council members elected in the 1959 general local elections.
- A two-thirds majority vote of all municipal council members is required to transfer the seat of government to a different site within the municipality.
Effectivity of the Law
- The Act takes effect immediately upon its approval.
- The law was enacted without the need for executive approval on June 21, 1959.
