Scope of Operations and Purpose
- NEPC is authorized not only to generate but also to distribute electric light, heat, and power.
- The electric power generated is intended for sale within Negros Occidental.
Construction and Operational Requirements
- A new Section One-A is inserted, requiring the grantee to complete the construction of the authorized hydroelectric power plant and/or thermal units within five years from the approval of the amendment.
Pricing and Regulation
- NEPC is authorized to charge and collect rates for the use of electric current.
- Such rates must follow a schedule that remains subject to regulation and approval by the Public Service Commission at all times.
Effectivity
- The Act becomes effective immediately upon its approval on June 19, 1965.
