Appointment and Qualifications of Prosecutors
- Prosecutors are appointed by the Anti-Dummy Board.
- Incumbent special investigators and legal officers occupying positions at the time of approval shall fill the new roles based on seniority, provided they meet qualifications.
- Qualifications for Chief Prosecutor align with those for Judges of the Court of First Instance.
- Qualifications for Assistant Chief Prosecutor, Senior Prosecutors, and Prosecutors match those prescribed for provincial fiscals.
Salary Provisions and Budget Appropriations
- Salaries are fixed by the Act and are to be paid notwithstanding any contrary laws.
- The Act authorizes appropriations beyond the current Appropriations Act, using funds from the National Treasury not otherwise allocated.
Effectivity of the Act
- The Act becomes effective immediately upon approval.
