Holiday Observance Rules
- If a holiday falls on a Wednesday, it is observed on the Monday of the same week.
- If a holiday falls on a Sunday, observance moves to the following Monday.
- Movable holidays require a presidential proclamation issued at least six months beforehand specifying the nonworking day.
- Eidul Adha is designated as a regional holiday exclusively in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
Modification and Repeal of Inconsistent Provisions
- Repeals or modifies all laws, orders, presidential issuances, rules, and regulations inconsistent with the provisions of this Act.
Effectivity Clause
- The Act takes effect fifteen days after its publication in at least two newspapers of general circulation.
