- Section 1 rewrites Paragraph one of Section 7 of Commonwealth Act No. 326, as previously amended by Republic Act No. 300.
Election relations between Bacolod and Negros Occidental
- Section 7(a) establishes that, for election purposes, the City of Bacolod remains part of the Second Congressional District of the Province of Negros Occidental unless otherwise provided.
- Section 7(a) requires that the voters of the City of Bacolod take part in the election of provincial officers of Negros Occidental.
- Section 7(a) bars the Province of Negros Occidental from exercising jurisdiction over the City of Bacolod and the officers of the City of Bacolod.
