Hearing Examiners and Prosecutors
- One Chief Hearing Examiner and one Assistant Chief Hearing Examiner; qualifications same as provincial fiscals.
- Thirty Hearing Examiners in six salary grades; qualifications generally same as provincial fiscals.
- Exception for five hearing examiners at the lowest salary grade: must have at least three years of law practice or continuous court service of at least two years.
- One Chief Prosecutor and one Assistant Chief Prosecutor with qualifications of provincial fiscals.
- Twenty-four Court Prosecutors divided into six salary grades; qualifications same as hearing examiners.
Stenographic and Administrative Staff
- One Division Chief and one Assistant Chief stenographic reporters; salaries specified.
- Twenty Senior stenographic reporters: senior stenographer eligible.
- Thirty Junior stenographic reporters: junior stenographer eligible.
- One Administrative Officer (Division Chief), Budget Officer, Personnel Officer, Cashier, Budget Examiner, and various clerical and support personnel with specified salaries and roles.
Legal and Research Division
- One Chief of Legal and Research Division with fiscal qualifications.
- Two Legal Officers and two Research Attorneys; all must be members of the Philippine Bar.
- One Chief of Reporters and Publication Section, two Proofreaders, one Mimeograph Operator, and one Messenger-Clerk; respective salary grades given.
Examining and Accounting Division
- Division Chief and Assistant Chief of Examining Division.
- Division Chief Accountant, Senior Corporation Auditing Examiner, Senior Accountant, Corporation Auditing Examiners, Clerk-Bookkeeper at specified salaries.
Appointment Procedures and Approvals
- All appointments made by the presiding judge shall be subject to the approval of the Secretary of Justice.
- The presiding judge may appoint other necessary officers and technical staff in compliance with the Civil Service Law, subject to Secretary of Justice approval.
Salary Adjustments and Continuity of Personnel
- Incumbent Clerk of Court and other court personnel shall receive salary increases under the Act without the need for reappointment.
- No incumbent shall be removed or demoted due to the Act unless lacking qualifications, reappointed to another suitable position, or removed for cause with due process.
Funding and Effectivity
- Appropriations necessary to implement the Act shall be provided from the National Treasury and other funding sources.
- The Act takes effect on July 1, 1965.
