Assignment of Branch Numbers
- The Supreme Court is tasked with assigning branch numbers to each of the newly created RTC branches.
Implementation and Funding
- The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court shall coordinate with the Secretary of the Department of Justice for the immediate implementation of the Act.
- Funding for the operation of these new courts must be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
- Release of funds is conditional upon the actual organization of the courts and the appointment of its personnel.
Amendments to Existing Laws
- Section 14(e) of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129 (The Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980), as amended, is repealed, modified, or further amended as necessary to accommodate this Act.
- Any other inconsistent provisions related to the judiciary reorganization are similarly altered to conform with the creation of these new courts.
Effectivity of the Act
- The Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in either the Official Gazette or in two newspapers of general circulation.

- The law is a consolidation of Senate Bill No. 3050 and House Bill No. 5895.
- It was passed by the Senate on September 17, 2012, and by the House of Representatives on February 6, 2013.
