Operationalization and Funding
- The Chief Justice, in coordination with the Justice Secretary, must integrate the operation of these new branches into the Court's regular programs.
- Funding is to be appropriated through the annual General Appropriations Act.
- Release of funds is conditional upon the actual organization of the branches and appointment of judicial personnel.
Rules, Regulations, and Jurisdiction Realignment
- The Supreme Court is mandated to promulgate necessary rules and regulations for effective implementation.
- Allows for realignment of seats and territorial jurisdiction of existing branches if deemed necessary.
Amendment of Existing Laws
- Section 14(e) of Batas Pambansa Blg. 129 (Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1980), as amended, is modified to reflect the creation of these new branches.
- Any inconsistent laws, rules, or regulations are repealed, amended, or modified accordingly.
Effectivity
- The Act takes effect fifteen (15) days after complete publication.
- Publication must be in the Official Gazette or in two newspapers of general circulation.
